Singleplayer-only mods tend to be the least noticeable for anti-cheat systems, so be sure to only use these Dark Souls easy mode mods in offline and disable them when going online. When it comes to making the game easier to play, there are two types of mods: "mega mules" containing upgraded characters and straightforward game-altering addons.
Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of Dark Souls and Elden Ring, even apologized for how his games frustrate players, but has shown no interest in ever implementing an easy mode - so players simply made their own.

The game has been a hit with fans, despite its ducking calls for an 'easy mode' of the title. But that doesn't mean such a mode isn't wanted and with it not being provided by the developers, fans have taken it into their own hands, creating an Elden Ring easy mode mod that has become massively popular.
A new mod by creator Odashikonbu that adds an easy mode to the game has now been downloaded 5,000 times since releasing on March 12, making it one of the most popular mods for Elden Ring to grace the Nexus Mods site.
But if your style is something a little faster and looser, just mod a whole bunch of guns into Dark Souls 3 and play it like Call of Duty: Tragic Yet Dignified Dragon Warfare. It's the ideal easy mode for FPS players looking to try out one of these wacky RPGs the kids won't quit talking about these days.
PCGamer reports that the game now has an unofficial easy mode via a mod created by modder odashikonbu. Hosted on NexusMods right now, this mod makes "Elden Ring" a far safer romp than FromSoft would've liked otherwise.
Game critics and accessibility advocates alike have criticized "Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice" for its lack of an easy mode, or any other kind of accomodation, for players who want to experience the game without the demanding combat requirement. Hardcore fans of FromSoftware games have argued that this would compromise the game's vision, since it's clearly designed to be hard to beat.
As debate over "Sekiro's" difficulty continues, easy mode advocates claim that players who oppose an easier difficulty are gatekeeping others. Most believe that adding an easy mode to the game would allow more players to experience "Sekiro," even if that experience is slightly different and not defined by how hard it was to beat the game.
Understandably, disabled gamers have also had varying takes on adding an easy mode to Sekiro. Some, liked YouTuber Limitlessquad, felt motivated to show off that their skills in the current version of the game in an effort to prove that "Sekiro" doesn't need to be easier.
Next, I plan on using his mod to band together with my struggling Tarnished friends and bring them back to the Lands Between in a way that's a little more welcoming than the experience FromSoft designed. They may take some persuading, but if it's a choice between them not experiencing it at all and them experiencing it in a slightly more accessible way, then of course I'll pick the latter. Besides, for a lot of people, this isn't a compromised way to play the game, but a decidedly more fun one. The mod has provided an easy mode that, in my eyes, is better than an actual easy mode. After all, a normal easy mode wouldn't let you and your friends gallop around the world together on horned horse-beasts now, would it?
Some fans feel that From Software games should be difficult, and in protest to mods that make the game easier, another modder, Silentverge, has released one that makes Elden Ring even harder. On the mod's download page, the creator says, "I got sick of seeing all of these "easy mode" mods being pumped out every other day so I made this mod instead". 2ff7e9595c
